Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Another Top Ten Tuesday! And this week's topic is: Top 10 Books People Have Been Telling Me That I MUST Read. Whether or not I listen to them is another matter entirely. Because chances are: I won't.

I tossed and turned, wishing I could sleep. But the fortuneteller's words tortured me. I would never find true love. I'd stay married to my career longer than I'd stay married to any man. Depression would make me a bedridden recluse. But at least I'd have my friends. One friend who would bounce all over the world before settling down into a passionate lifelong relationship. And another friend who had so much darkness surrounding her she spooked a woman who made her living doing spooky things. Forget Me Not by Shawn Martin (pg. 171)

  1. I will always and forever be in love with TWILIGHT! VAMPIRE ACADEMY wasn't bad, but I didn't love it. HARRY POTTER made my list, too!

    1. Everyone has their "guilty pleasures" (whether they feel guilty about it or not). But vampires have been turned into such a fad that I can't do them.

  3. I'd enjoy reading this book just to see if the fortune teller's predictions came true!

  4. Not reading Twilight: good life choice.

The LoTR trilogy, on the other hand, is definitely worth reading at least once. :)

    1. I enjoyed THE HOBBIT as a kid, and of course I like it a whole lot more now because Martin Freeman plays Bilbo in the movie. But. . . .I'm just not much into Tolkein
