I'm back from Nashville! Can't believe that happened; it all went by in a blur. Probably because I had a stupid cold most of the time, but setting that aside - five days goes by quickly!
This Week I Read:
- Rook by Sharon Cameron (5/5 strawberries)
- Beastly Bones by William Ritter (ARC) (5/5 strawberries)
- The Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson (4/5 strawberries)
This Week I Reviewed:
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling
- Strangelets by Michelle Gagnon
- Sorceress by Claudia Gray

Don't worry - you will be getting a very long video about my trip to Nashville and meeting Sharon Cameron and all that. I even put together a slide show and shot some footage of the Parthenon! Fun things coming soon next week!
So aside from Nashville, I of course got to meet Michael Buckley on the 5th. I was supposed to put a video up about it yesterday, but forgot. So I'll have that coming as soon as possible; I promise! I felt a little bad having so many books for him to sign, but hey - I'm a devoted fan to my authors. And who knows when I'll get to meet him again, right?
Other than that, the week has been kind of relaxing. Busy enough to keep me from getting bored, but not overwhelming. Friends and I went and saw Rifftrax Live: The Room on Wednesday night - that's always a special kind of torture. This was no exception. My mind, in fact, is trying to block out the experience. That was the worst movie ever; I'll never be clean again. Then today for Mother's Day I took my Mum to see The Age of Adaline. It was good. Reminded a bit of Forever (. . . .), but still good.
This coming week should be equally restful. The Lantern Festival has been moved to October, which I'm okay with because I'm so tired. I caught a cold while in Nashville and I just need sleep and my old routine. I return to swing on Tuesday, which I'm really happy about (I missed it so much!), and Wednesday night some friends and I are going to see Avengers: Age of Ultron. I'm not a superhero fan, but it should be fun. Saturday I meet YA author Kendare Blake (again!), and that's pretty much the upcoming week for me! Not too long until we head out for BookCon in New York City!
Keep reading, my friends!
