Hedgehog Life: 4/26/15 - 5/3/15

It's been quite a week! Not even really sure where to begin! Bear with me, Readers; I've been in whirl since the last Weekend Recap.

This Week I Read:
- Tunnel Vision by Susan Adrian (4/5 strawberries)

This Week I Reviewed:
Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
- The Cemetery Boys by Heather Brewer

What's In Store for Next Week:
Review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling
Discussion: TBR Shaming
Waiting on Wednesday with Undertow
Review of Strangelets by Michelle Gagnon
Review of Sorceress by Claudia Gray
Author Visit: Michael Buckley

So the Sunday after my birthday I went swing dancing again, to make up for the Tuesday I was missing for my flight. It was super fun; I joined the birthday circle again and got spun out of countenance by several leads. Got to say hi and "see you later" to several friends, and while I was melting the whole night (it was really, really hot and I underestimated just how tired I was), it was loads of fun. I feel better about missing after such a fabulous night.

Monday and Tuesday were spent in a whirlwind of packing, putting last minute things to right, et cetera. For those who have traveled, you know the drill. Tuesday night my dad drove me up to the airport and I caught my 12:15am flight out to Nashville.

This is a pre-written post that I've been working on little by little each day, so it will be posted before I actually fly back. But I'm returning home today, and while I had fun, I'm glad to get home.

Of course, I'm hitting the ground running. Tuesday night I get to meet Middle Grade/YA author Michael Buckley, Wednesday I and some friends are going to see Rifftrax Live: The Room, and Sunday is the Lantern Festival! And before I know it, I'm going to be catching a flight to New York and BOOKCON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The week after this coming week, I'll do a master post about everything that went on in Nashville. That should give me plenty of time to put videos and pictures together. Until then, keep reading, my friends!

  1. A 12:15 AM flight? I hope you were able to sleep on the ride. Have lots of fun in Nashville!

    1. I wasn't able to sleep, actually. I was in the middle seat, I was too buzzed from high-strung nerves, and my contacts were getting uncomfortable. Of course, like an idiot I put my contact case in my check-in bag and forgot my glasses, so I couldn't do anything about it. Nashville was fun, though. Lots of pictures and videos coming!
